Spirituality, culture and history; all mingled in one of the oldest inhabited cities in India. That is Madurai. Madura’s historical significance dates back to over 2500 years. Besides being the capital of the Pandyan Dynasty, it was a learning hub and focal point of Tamil culture. It has always been famous for its classical music, dance and Literature.

The main attractions are: Meenakshi Amman Temple which is dedicated to goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareswaran (Parvathy & Shiva). Here you get to see unbelievable, intricate cravings and sculptures.  The textile industry and Jellikattu are also quite amazing.
